Education Association
Formed in 1993 the Development
Education Association (DEA)
is a national umbrella body
working with over 220 member
organisations. The DEA aims
to support and promote the work
of all those engaged in raising
awareness of and bringing about
a better understanding of global
and development issues in the
UK. The DEA runs a global youth
work programme in England, which
includes advocacy, research,
pilot projects, publications,
training, advice and support.

Council
for Environmental Education
The Council for Environmental
Education (CEE) is a national
strategic organisation providing
a voice for those committed
to education for sustainable
development. Since 1984 CEE
has acted as a focus for the
development and support of environmental
education with young people
in informal settings. CEE's
youth work programme has concentrated
on policy development, training
of youth workers, and support
and dissemination of good practice.
CEE organises events, produces
publications and maintains a
database of youth work resources.
