Global Youth Action Project

Picture of Global Youth Action participants

Global Youth Action (GYA) helps young people to develop a critical understanding of the global connections to their lives, encourages them to explore and challenge the issues that matter to them, and supports them in taking  action.

The project is being delivered by 5 DECs who are building their capacity to support and develop global youth work locally and regionally: The Harambee Centre in  Cambridge, Global Education Derby, Lancashire Global Education Centre in Preston, GLADE in Illminster, and Leeds Development Education Centre. Minorities of Europe is supporting the involvement of Black and minority ethnic young people through the delivery of their 'International Champions' programme in the 5 GYA regions.
