DEA's response to DCSF's Pupil and Parent Guarantees is focused on pupil ambition 2: A broad, balanced and flexible curriculum including skills for learning and life for all pupils, and specifically on guarantee 2.1:

Provide a balanced and broad-based curriculum which gives opportunities to learn and achieve and which prepares all pupils for the opportunities, responsibilities and experiences of later life.
