Environmental action twice as likely among learners

People who have learnt about global issues are more than twice as likely to see the point of taking personal action on environmental concerns, get involved in positive social activity or support UK aid efforts, according to research due out tomorrow (2 March.)

DEA's Global Learning Charter launch

On February 23rd DEA launched the Global Learning Charter.

The Rt Hon Malcolm Bruce MP, Chair of the International Development Select Committee, hosted the launch in Parliament. So far over 200 organisations have signed up including NGOs, businesses, local authorities, schools and others.

DEA launched its new strategy for the next three years at its annual general meeting (AGM) on 4 November.

The strategy sets out DEA's vision and focuses on DEA's main ways of working from 2010-2013, articulating main priorities and approach.
