Teesside One World Centre offers curriculum development support and in-service training to schools and community groups in the Tees Valley area. Development education teaching packs, photographs, videos, posters and reference material are available for inspection to affiliated members; sale of materials available by post. 'Refugee Action Project Teesside' is a three-year major project for 2006-09.

thinkingpeople is a learning consultancy specialising in cross-cultural working, valuing diversity and global awareness. It offers consultancy services, writes learning materials and delivers training courses on a range of issues from anti-racist training to cross-cultural communication.

Tide~ is a network of teachers and educators coming together to respond to the educational challenges of global dimensions, development perspectives and human rights principles. The new centre in Millennium Point provides a focus for a range of West Midlands projects in response to the challenges of Enabling Effective Support.
The trustees of the educational charity are elected from the network. They and a small staff enable network activities, curriculum projects and Tide~ publications. The Tide~ Centre offers workshops for teachers and sells a good range of development education materials. West Midlands teachers are invited to join the network, make use of the support or help develop new projects.

Trading Visions is a not-for-profit Fairtrade education and campaigning organisation. It has been set up to build on the award-winning Fairtrade education work undertaken in partnership between Comic Relief, Kuapa Kokoo cocoa co-operative and Divine and Dubble Fairtrade chocolate. Trading Visions aims to alleviate the poverty of small-scale cocoa farmers and other producers in the South by amplifying their voices in the supply chain to challenge and change industry practice. In particular it seeks to connect producers and consumers in a popular and accessible way. See website for more information.
