The East of England Development Education Network (EEDEN) is a partnership of Local Authorities, ITE institutions and NGOs in the Eastern Region, working on the Department for International Development Enabling Effective Support strategy. Its aim is to build capacity in the education sector to embed a global dimension across the curriculum.

Engineers Without Borders is a student-run charity whose mission is "to facilitate human development through engineering". Its volunteers provide development NGOs in the UK and overseas with technical assistance during work placements. Students at UK universities undertake research for partner NGOs. EWB-UK branches host talks and run training programmes to further understanding of development issues and practice. The charity is preparing to launch a lecture course entitled 'International Co-operation: Technologies for Human Development'.

EAUC is a registered educational charity. It was established in 1996 to help UK further and higher education institutions improve their environmental and sustainability performance. Its role, as a member-led association, is to ensure it continues to meet members' needs as sustainable development becomes a mainstream strategic, operational and curriclum issue for the sector. It provides training, advice and support to its over 200 members as well as providing a forum for best practice.
