Oxfam's conferences are a great way to give secondary school students and sixth formers the skills and motivation to take action on global poverty.
This year's conferences will lead to a better understanding of global poverty and its links to climate change, and will inspire and engage young people to take action for a more just and sustainable world.
Through fun workshops, passionate debates and first-hand stories from Oxfam staff, young people will learn how to articulate their thoughts on complex global issues, and develop skills in campaigning.
The conferences mark the beginning of an exciting programme that provides young people with the opportunity to really get involved in active global citizenship.
At the conference each school group will design an action plan aiming to engage their peers, members of their communities and decision makers in the issues raised by the conferences.
