DFID Development Awareness Fund Major Grants Seminar - for BME organisations
DFID's Development Awareness Fund (DAF) is open to any UK-based organisation or network which shares DFID's commitment to raising awareness and understanding of development issues, and has the capacity to account properly for any DFID funds received.
The DAF can provide grants of between £10,000 to £100,000 per year through Major Grants and up to £10,000 per year through Mini Grants.
DAF Major Grants support activities that promote public knowledge and understanding of development issues, of our global independence, of the need for international development, and of the progress that has been made and that is possible. All applicants should plan to meet a proportion of project costs from either their own resources or from other donor sources, to show their commitment to the project.
If your organisation is interested in attending this DAF seminars, please send an e-mail, by 26th June at the latest, to dafseminars@tripleline.com with the following details:
- The date and location of the seminar you are interested in attending
- Your organisation’s name
- A paragraph describing your organisation and its interest in the DAF programme
- The name(s) of the proposed participant(s)
DFID aims to ensure that all interested organisations are able to attend the DAF funding seminars, but if there is a high demand for places on the seminars, this may not be possible and/or the number of participants per organisation may need to be limited to one or two only.
